Pre-school audiences
These short sessions (30 minutes or less) are suitable for children aged 0 to 5 years (and their grown-ups!). Join Renae for a lively book reading and interactive sing-along.
School audiences
Presentations to school groups (generally up to 1 hour) can cover a range of topics including where ideas come from, story structure, writing poetry, the publication process and working with an illustrator. These sessions can be adapted to suit primary or high school students.
Adult audiences
Renae offers a 1.5-2 hour ‘Pathways to Publication’ workshop for adults who are interested in creating books for children and young adults. This presentation focuses on types of publishing, the submission process and how to give yourself the best possible start on the road to publication.
